How to Get & Use Weapons in WWE 2K24

Let’s get into the nitty-gritty of how you can spice up your WWE 2K24 matches with a little weaponry action. Now, if you’re anything like me, sometimes you just wanna add that extra zing to your match & what better way to do it than with some good ol’ chair smashing, ladder climbing chaos? So here’s the lowdown on how to get your hands on those weapons & make your opponents regret stepping into the ring with you…

First things first, you gotta know when & where you can flex your muscle with some extra hardware… Not all matches are made equal, y’know? If you’re thinking you can just grab a chair in a standard one-on-one without the ref getting in your face, think again… In matches like TLC (Tables, Ladders, and Chairs for the uninitiated), Ladders, Extreme Rules, and a few other special showdowns, the rulebook gets a little, let’s say, flexible.

So, you’re in one of these matches & you’ve got your eye on some extra firepower. Here’s what you do:

Stand near a weapon that’s lying around. This could be a table set up outside the ring, a ladder leaning against the corner, or even a chair that’s just begging to be used. Once you’re close enough, press LB/L1 (yeah, keep that button in mind, it’s your best friend here).

But here’s where it gets good… Wanna pull something a little more?? unique from under the ring? Get close to the apron, and press LB/L1 again. Boom, you’ve got yourself a weapon wheel. Use the left stick to navigate this, pick your instrument of chaos, & press A or X to make your selection a reality.

Throwing Weapons: Because Why Not??

New to WWE 2K24 is the option to throw weapons at your opponents. Yeah you heard that right. Got a chair & feeling a bit cheeky? Aim at your adversary & press B or Circle to give them a surprise they won’t forget…

Customizing Your Arsenal

Feeling like the default options just don’t cut it? WWE 2K24 lets you customize your weapon wheel. Here’s how you do it:

Before your match, go to Match Options then to Custom Match Options. Look for the Edit Weapons menu; that’s your playground. Choose the six weapons you wanna bring into the fray & make your match truly your own.

Weapon List: What’s in Your Toolbox?

WWE 2K24 ain’t skimpin’ on the hardware. Alongside classics like tables, chairs, & ladders, they’ve thrown in some fresh gear… here’s a quick rundown of what’s at your disposal:

The classics: Table, Chair, Ladder, Baseball Bat, Hockey Stick, Shovel, Sledgehammer, Stop Sign, Kendo Stick

The new blood: Guitar (yeah, you can serenade your opponent… with pain), Trash Can, Microphone, Slim Jim (snap into it… literally), & La Chancla (fear the slipper).
