Mortal Online 2 is a pretty brutal game. Designed for the hardcore MMO player, this title provides a challenging experience that can easily discourage new players. Apart from having a skill-based combat system, Mortal Online 2 also expects you to work hard for almost everything, including your abilities. For this reason, you need to be pretty well-stocked in terms of gold.

While a guild will generally help you get your character up to spec, you’ll have to learn to carry your own weight as well. This means you’ll need to learn how to make gold. Luckily, you can use a few gold farming methods to keep your coffers full.

Mortal Online 2 Gold Banking

One of the dangers of wandering around the world of Mortal Online 2 is losing your stuff. A lot of players spend most of their time killing others either for the laughs or to loot their corpses. That includes whatever money they have on them at the time.

So, just like in real life, you’ll want to deposit most of your hard-earned gold in the bank. You can easily spend tons of hours per session farming, so you wouldn’t want all that effort going to waste. Just make it a habit to put any gold you make straight into the bank, and you’ll be fine.

Mortal Online 2 Gold Farming Methods

As a quick disclaimer, Mortal Online 2 doesn’t have any real money-making exploits. The game is balanced in a way that requires some effort in order to make a decent amount of gold. Keep in mind that any of the gold farming methods we share will likely be used by other players as well, so be ready to switch things up regularly.

Horse and Corpse

Most gold farming methods in Mortal Online 2 skew either towards being boring or relatively engaging with their own tradeoffs in terms of return on investment. Horse and corpse is by far the most balanced method, though it can feel a bit dull after a while.

What you need is a horse with empty bags. Then head over to the nearest graveyard and start killing Walking Dead. Each time you kill one, you’ll be able to loot its carcass, which can sell for a nice chunk of change. Filling your horse’s bags can easily net you over 10 gold per run.

This method may be slightly boring, but it’s actually safe because you’ll be closer to a town, and there will be blue tags around who’ll gladly assist you if someone is ruining your day.

Taming of the Horses

This gold farming method involves having some taming skill or a friend that has one. You can tame and sell almost any animal, but by far, the most lucrative are horses. In essence, you need to tame as many horses as you can lead back to town. Ensure you feed them along the way, so they don’t lose their loyalty to you.

Back in town, you can sell your tamed horses at the auction house. Be sure to check running prices based on their level, as putting them up with the wrong price won’t help you make sales. The downside of this method is that it takes time going back and forth to your taming spot, but it’s pretty lucrative if you get your prices right.

Dungeon Diving & World Bosses

Killing dungeons and world bosses can lead to some decent gold if you’ve grown bored of the other methods. As with any normal group activity, you’ll need a party to tackle this type of content. In the end, you’ll also need to divide the spoils, including the gold, so you may not make as much money per hour. However, it’s a more fun method for earning some cash, so don’t skip out on taking down some bosses.

Tindrem Flower Picking

This method is a bit boring, but it’s pretty good for beginners. When you’re at Tindrem, there’s a garden area with flowers in it. Looting and selling the blue flowers can make you a decent amount of gold. Now, if you think the Walking Dead method is tedious, this one is even more mind-numbingly repetitive. That being said, it’s also the safest method as no one will attack you inside a city.
