You can see when your Sim has a moodlet because it will show in the character icon in the lower left corner of the screen. Your Sim will also display whims above his or her head that they would like to do. It’s always best to advance skills when you’re in the right mood, because you will progress faster. You can tell what activities will be enhanced with Moodlets because the action button upon clicking an object will change color. For example, when Inspired, choosing to cook a meal by clicking on the refrigerator will show an icon with a blue section in it.
