The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim PC Keyboard Controls

The default control scheme for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for PC is:

PC Keyboard Controls

  • WASD – Forward, backward, strafe left, strafe right.

 

  • C – Automove

 

  • Alt – Sprint

 

  • Caps Lock – Toggle Walk/Run

 

  • Shift – Walk/Run

 

  • Space – Jump

 

  • Ctrl – Sneak Mode

 

  • R – Ready Weapon / Sheath Weapon

 

  • Left Mouse Button – Attack / Right Hand

 

  • Left Click (hold) – Power Attack

 

  • Right Mouse Button – Block / Left Hand

 

  • Left Click+Right Click – Dual Cast

 

  • Z – Power / Dragon Shout

 

  • Q – Favorites

 

  • E – Activate / Use

 

  • F (or mouse wheel) – Change View

 

  • TAB – Character Menu

 

  • J – Open Journal

 

  • T – Wait
