Sapiens: Ultimate Crafting Guide – Everything You Need to Know!
In this guide, we will cover the fundamentals of crafting in Sapiens as well as some of the crafting recipes that are available in the game.
Sapiens can refine raw ingredients into more useful products through crafting. This increases the tribe’s productivity and chances of survival. Tools, for example, can be crafted to increase productivity and allow the tribe members to perform more complex tasks. Musical instruments can be carved to provide entertainment for Sapiens. Certain skills are required to craft certain items.
Where to Craft Items
Crafting is done at various stations. Investigating will allow you to access more Sapiens Crafting recipes. The Crafting Area is where you will do the bulk of your crafting.
You can craft a variety of items at the following stations.
- Campfire – Primarily used to prepare cooked foods.
- Crafting area – This is where most items, such as tools, split logs, instruments, and flax twine, are made.
How to Craft Items
Crafting is done by selecting the crafting station to be used and pressing the ‘craft’ button. An item to be crafted can then be selected, either by moving the slider and pressing ‘craft’ to craft a fixed quantity, or by pressing ‘craft continuously’ to craft the item indefinitely until it is manually canceled. This can be used for automation, but it must be taken into account that some crafting recipes, such as those for clay urns, may require Sapiens to travel great distances in order to gather more clay.
Sapiens who have been assigned the general labor skill will bring the materials to the crafting area and set them on the raised stone surface if they are nearby and are either on the floor or in a storage area. After a brief delay, the item will be crafted by a Sapien who has the required skill, using up the ingredients and producing the final product as a loose item.
