With this part of the Gears Tactics Guide, you will learn more about the Execution system, and the bonuses it can provide to your Gears during battle.
Sometimes, during a critical hit or following a very brutal attack, enemies may be put down instead of killed. In this state, they may be revived by their companions, but it will also open up the possibility of an Execution, a violent close-ranged attack.
By inflicting an Execution on an enemy, you will not only kill the latter but every member of your squad, except for the soldier responsible for the Execution, will gain 1 extra Action Point. Consequently, it will be sometimes judicious not to immediately finish off the enemies that are down with a bullet in order to be able to benefit from a succession of AP bonuses in the next turn.
