Southern Lagoon Peninsula (Coordinates: 94.2, 52.5)

This spot is like the VIP lounge of Ark. Safe, resource-rich, & with an Explorer note to boost your XP. There’s a cave nearby that’s practically a ready-to-move-in house… just add a few foundations & you’re set. Water’s right there, mountains protect your back, and you’ve got space for all your dino pals.

Eastern Stream Area (Coordinates: 94.9, 58.5)

Think of this as your own beachfront property. It’s flat, got shallow water (fancy a swim in your living room?), & natural walls for protection. Beavers chill nearby so you can snag some easy wood & cementing paste, and those pesky hesperornis are great for organic polymer.

Metal Mountain (Coordinates: 87.6, 47.4)

Now this place is a bit more hardcore, but hey, no risk, no reward right?? It’s covered in metal nodes but watch out for the Raptors & Carnos. If you’re feeling brave, there’s a bunch of Crystal at the top too.

Herbivore Island (Coordinates: 88.2, 51.6)

No carnivores here, so chill out & tame some plant-eating buddies. It’s like a metal paradise but kinda out of the way, so traveling’s a bit of a drag.

Pink Sand Peninsula Beach (Coordinates: 70, 5.6)

This place is chill vibes only. It’s safe & flat & you won’t bump into anything scarier than a seagull; there’s this awesome spot nearby with epic loot just gotta dodge the sharks & mosasaurs.

South Zone 1 (Coordinates: 84, 36.2)

Lotsa people start here but honestly?? It’s not the best. You’ve got Raptors & Spinos lurking around, ready to crash your party. And if a Titanosaur shows up? Say bye to your base…

Setting Up Outposts

As you level up, you gotta think bigger. Build outposts in key areas like the Ice Island for Polymer & Oil, and the Swamp Bug Cave for Chitin. You need these for the end game so plan ahead & build strategically.

Final Thoughts

No matter where you start, the key is to adapt & evolve. And hey, who says you gotta stick to one spot -> move around, explore and find what works best for you; happy hunting, Survivors… and remember, in Ark always expect the unexpected…
