People spend hundreds of dollars buying emotes that serve no purpose other than showing off their skills. But once you’ve executed that killer hook or sank that three-pointer, how do you actually go about celebrating?Â

HOW DO YOU CELEBRATE AFTER THE SHOT IN NBA 2K23
To begin, open the Navigation menu and select MyPlayer. The new screen contains several options, and the one you will be looking for is MyPlayer Animations. Selecting it will take you to the animation screen. Initially, there will be no animations available. You will have to buy dance moves from the Animation Store, and equip them for use. You can easily do so from the store that is available on the MyPlayer screen just to the right of the My Animations page.
HOW TO BUY DANCE MOVES IN NBA 2K23
- Open the menu.
- Go to MyPlayer and choose the Animation Store.
- Look for Signature Animations and then choose In-game Celebrations.
- Pick an emote of your choice. There are several categories to choose from, such as, Park Standings, Park Flops, Park Jump Shots etc.
- Select one or multiple emotes and add them to the cart and proceed to checkout.
HOW TO EQUIP NBA 2K23 EMOTES
- Open the menu and go to MyPlayer.
- Select My Animations and go to In-Game Celebrations. Scroll right on the My Animations page until you reach the Celebrations card.Â
- You can now equip any number of Celebrations such as Dunks, Shots, Park Dunks, Layups, etc.
- After the shot, use the directional buttons (up, down, etc.) to celebrate the newly bought emotes you have just bought.
- The celebrations can be used in Pro-Am, NBA 2K23, and The Park. Once you’ve selected the Celebrations, you’ll be able to use them in games for celebrating particularly memorable moments.
