Dota Underlords – Heroes Tier List

Heroes Tier List

These are ranked on individual ability primarily with minor consideration on how easily they can fit in to a synergy or team comp. I’m also rating them by tier because it’s easier that way.

Tier 1

2. Axe
3. Tinker
4. Batrider
5. Tusk
6. Enchantress
7. Tiny
8. Clockwerk
9. Warlock
10. Bloodseeker
11. Bounty Hunter
12. Shadow Shaman
13. Anti-Mage
14. Ogre Magi

Tier 1 is an expansive tier with many strong heroes to complement it, with some defining heroes of their alliance, such as drow ranger or axe, so i’ve mainly rated this tier on how well the unit scales into the late game with damage or utility, also considering synergies and how easily they’re countered.

Tier 2 

1. Witch Doctor
2. Chaos Knight
3. Queen of Pain
4. Pudge
5. Crystal Maiden
6. Treant Protector
7. Beast Master
8. Timbersaw
9. Juggernaut
10. Slardar
11. Natures Prophet
12. Luna
13. Puck
14. Morphling

Tier 2 is a difficult one for me to rate, as i find that a lot of the units tend to be a bit weaker than most counterparts from other tiers, so i’ve primarily rated these ones for general utility and how reliable they are without synergies or items to support them.

Tier 3 

1. Shadow Fiend
2. Slark
3. Viper
4. Lycan
5. Abaddon
6. Razor
7. Sand King
8. Sniper
9. Windranger
10. Arc Warden
11. Venomancer
12. Lina
13. Phantom Assassin
14. Terrorblade
15. OmniKnight

Tier 3 has some of the strongest assassins in the game, which are amazing in team compilations that are primarily focused around their non-assassin synergies with most other units being solid dual synergy units, being able to combine multiple synergies together. Some of the biggest winners from this tier are Savages Warlocks and Knights.

Tier 4 

1. Kunkka
2. Doom
3. Medusa
4. Lone Druid
5. Keeper of the Light
6. Troll Warlord
7. Mirana
8. Necrophos
9. Dragon Knight
10. Disruptor
11. Alchemist
12. Templar Assassin

This tier probably has the highest minumum rating of all the other tiers, as even the weakest unit in this tier is still relatively strong power wise. This is also the tier that the warriors get their tier defining units from, with 3 of the strongest units in the game, Troll Warlord, Doom and Kunkka all being from here.

Tier 5 

1. Tidehunter
2. Enigma
3. Techies
4. Gyrocopter
5. Lich

The smallest and easiest to rate tier yet. while all the units have insanely strong heroic abilities, it’s a lot easier to tell who outshines the other in terms of damage and utility. Lich however i feel to underperform in a lot of games compared to the rest of the tier.
