If you’re having trouble getting leather tanned, make sure you have both essential ingredients: raw skins and tannin.

You can obtain tannin by gathering it from specific trees. Once you’ve unlocked the tanning technology, a new work area becomes available for this purpose. Keep in mind that oak trees and fir trees are the ones you should be targeting, and they can only be harvested for tannin during the spring season. The good news is, children in your village are able to gather it, so make sure to utilize them for this task.
