Cassette Beasts Stickers: Types, Slots and Uses

22

Stickers in Cassette Beasts are used to customize your monsters’ movesets and abilities, allowing for a vast amount of personalization. They come in two types: active and passive. Active stickers represent your monster’s moves, like physical attacks, ranged attacks, and status effects, while passive stickers act as abilities that persist without needing to be selected. Stickers also have various rarities (common, uncommon, and rare), and can be typeless, which means they adopt the type of the monster holding the sticker.

Cassette Tapes and Sticker Slots

Each cassette tape in Cassette Beasts has a star rating, determining the number of stickers it can hold. As your cassette tape levels up and gains stars, it will also gain new stickers and slots for customization. Monsters can have up to eight sticker slots at full level.

Obtaining Stickers

Stickers can be found throughout the game world in chests, purchased from merchants, awarded for completing quests, or earned by leveling up your monster. The best way to obtain uncommon and rare stickers is by buying sticker packs from the vending machine in the hub town, which require pulp.

Several vendors in the main hub town sell stickers, with their stock rotating daily. Make sure to check these vendors frequently for any valuable stickers. Some stickers can also be found in other areas like the house on the west side of town after lowering the bridge.

Active stickers can be divided into three main categories: melee attacks, ranged attacks, and status conditions/miscellaneous. Passive stickers, on the other hand, automatically apply certain effects like multi-target or Revenge strike without using AP. These effects can be triggered when entering battle or taking damage, among other conditions.

Bootleg monsters have a higher chance of receiving uncommon and rare stickers, which offer added effects.

Essential Stickers for Battle Strategy

Some of the best and essential stickers to get in Cassette Beasts are:

AP Starter: Provides 1 extra AP upon entering battle, allowing immediate use of AoE moves like Double Slice, Energy Wave, or Metal Riff.

AP Refund: Increases the chance to use powerful moves more often by refunding some AP after using moves like Fusion Power.

Magnet: Useful in late game when AI targets squishy monsters, making them more resilient.

Critical Mass: Extremely powerful when paired with a move that has a 100% critical rate and a rare quality sticker with a high effect rate. This combination can lead to finishing encounters with a single move.
