Empire of Sin

Empire of Sin is a mobster strategy game that lets you live out your 1920s gangster dreams in the streets of Prohibition-era Chicago. Choose from real and fictional crime bosses like Al Capone or Goldie Garneau, build your empire with speakeasies, brothels, and breweries, and settle turf wars in gritty, XCOM-style turn-based shootouts. Mix in RPG character drama, business management, and underworld politics—and you’ve got a game where deals, double-crosses, and Tommy guns rule the streets.

It launched a bit rough, but with updates like the Precinct system and AI tweaks, it’s found its groove. If you’re into criminal empires, tactical combat, and making enemies “sleep with the fishes,” this one’s worth a shot (or several).
