The Dishonored series is where stealth meets style and revenge gets really, really creative. Set in a grim, plague-ridden steampunk world full of rats, masks, and questionable whale oil tech, you play as supernatural assassins with teleportation powers and a long list of people who absolutely had it coming.

Whether you’re Corvo with a bone to pick or Emily with a royal vendetta, Dishonored lets you decide how messy (or merciful) your revenge gets. You can blink across rooftops, possess a fish to sneak through a sewer, stop time mid-fight, or just walk in the front door swinging a sword like a maniac — all valid strategies, depending on how loud you want your chaos meter to scream.

Every mission is a sandbox full of options: ghost your way past enemies without ever being seen, or leave a trail of unconscious bodies and exploding whale oil tanks. Your choices matter, too — go full murder mode and the world gets darker, bloodier, and way more rat-infested. Nice.

With sharp level design, moody worldbuilding, and some of the coolest powers in any stealth-action game, Dishonored rewards creativity, curiosity, and the occasional quicksave spam after accidentally stabbing a civilian.
