How to Turn Off Depth of Field In Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Follow these simple steps;

 

1. Locate engine.pak in steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Engine. Create a backup for good measures.

 

2. Ensure that windows shows file extensions. In folder window, go to view and tick off “File name extensions”.

 

3. Rename engine.pak to engine.zip

 

4. Unpack engine.zip

 

5. Three folders will be unpacked; “Fonts”, “EngineAssets” and “Config”

 

6. Go to config\cvargroups and open sys_spec_PostProcessing.cfg in notepad or similar program.

 

7. Locate the line r_DepthOfFIeld=2 and change it to r_DepthOfFIeld=0

 

8. Save and exit.

 

9. Repack “Fonts”, “EngineAssets” and “Config” into engine.zip

 

10. Rename engine.zip to engine.pak

 

11. Play without Depth of Field.
