WoW Classic Season of Discovery: How to Get Chaos Bolt

Chaos Bolt isn’t just some regular spell; it’s a top-tier Warlock rune for your Hands slot that packs a serious punch, dealing massive Fire damage that always lands on target & ignores resistances. Plus, it amps up your other Fire spells to cut through absorption effects like they’re nothing -> just a heads up, though: against monsters way stronger than you (think 4 levels or more), this spell might not stick.

For the Undead crew:

You gotta head over to Tirisfal. Look for a Frozen Murloc chilling on the northwest side of the big lake – we’re talking coordinates (66 | 40). Whip out your fire spells & give that Murloc a warm welcome. Once it’s thawed, boom – Chaos Bolt is yours…

Orcs:

Your target’s a Frozen Makrura, and it’s hanging out in Durotar at (59 | 45). You’ll need some backup for this one. Rally your Warlock pals or any Mage buddies & hit it with all the fire spells you’ve got. Once that Makrura’s done defrosting, it’ll drop the Chaos Bolt.

Humans, you’re up:

Your frozen friend, a Murloc is waiting at Stone Cairn Lake in Elwynn Forest. This one’s a team effort too so gather your Warlock & Mage mates & turn up the heat with your fire spells. Thaw that little guy out & snag your Chaos Bolt.

Gnomes:

You’re looking for a Frozen Trogg hiding out in Gol’Bolar Quarry, Dun Morogh at (69 | 58). Same drill as the others – call in your Warlock & Mage squad & get those fire spells blazing. Thaw that Trogg & the Chaos Bolt is all yours…
