Cyrodiil… green rolling hills, the glint of the White-Gold Tower, the existential dread of yet another Oblivion gate threatening to shudder open. Home sweet home, isn’t it? Now that it’s been given the new-fangled -Remastered!- polish treatment… everything just appears stunningly familiar and yet -> better!! But wait. You climb out of that sewer grate (again…) ready to punch some mudcrabs, & maybe unintentionally join a Daedric cult, and your fingers float above the keyboard; or controller. It’s suddenly 2006 again, but your muscle memory somehow stayed back then, probably along with your lost copy of the game disc.

“Was ‘F’ interact or ‘E’?” “How do I block again before I get smacked into next Tamriel Tuesday?” “Why am I suddenly jumping when I meant to sneak?!”

No shame! Before you get dragged off to jail for accidental button smashing, here is a quick rundown of the default gamepad & keyboard controls.
