It might not be a “classic” combo, but Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem offers just that (and does it excellently well). Now, don’t let the name fool you; there’s something of a silly charm to the Serious Sam games, although this is toned down a little with a more realistic reboot in Siberian Mayhem.

Nevertheless, you’ll face waves of alien enemies that are nothing short of unique, all set in a dark environment that really helps set the stakes high. Unlock gadgets and guns and team up with a range of companions to help take back control of the rugged Siberian landscape.

But while it might be a first-person shooter, there’s more to Siberian Mayhem than just tackling endless waves of aliens. Indeed, exploration is open to your own imagination, and with the traitorous General Brand to track down, as well as plenty of side missions to keep things interesting, there’s enough to keep you engaged (without being too heavy on the plot all the same).

In addition, Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem offers both a single-player & online Co-op gameplay experience; making it ideal for anyone looking to get in on the action… Of course, before you can begin ploughing down hordes of brightly colored alien enemies, you’ll need to master the controls.
