Controls for STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor – PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

21 2

I always wanted to be a Jedi. Plenty of people do, they made an entire theme park around allowing people to live in that fantasy for a few hours. However, nothing has gotten me close to feeling like a Jedi (besides walking around Galaxyโ€™s Edge), as Jedi: Fallen Order.

That game really nailed it when it came to delivering an experience that felt powerful, but not particularly easy. I really love Jedi: Fallen Order, and when the credits rolled on that, I suddenly felt empty. When would I get to go on another adventure with Cal and BD-1? When would I have another opportunity to abuse battle droids with my force powers and sick lightsaber skills?

Soon. The answer was soon.

The action-packed sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, called Jedi: Survivor, is almost here. It features a more confident, more efficient version of Cal Kestis, and it takes him on an adventure across the galaxy, to brand-new planets that have never been seen before in any kind of Star Wars media. Itโ€™sโ€ฆ going to be awesome.

Like its predecessor, Jedi: Survivor looks like it will be mechanically complex, and it even adds a number of new features that contribute to the gameโ€™s depth and the skill level required to enjoy it fully. Iโ€™m probably going to need a refresher more than once to keep all of the new actions straight.

And if you think you might too, then I have something here for both of us. Itโ€™s the Jedi: Survivor controls guide for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Just because the controls have been optimized for a gamepad, doesnโ€™t mean youโ€™ll get them right away! Take the time to re-write your muscle memory with this controls guide, and make sure your interplanetary adventure goes as smoothly as possible.

Mike has been playing video games since he was able to hold a controller, having been fascinated by Sonic 2 on his momโ€™s Sega Genesis. That fascination and passion for the art form has grown exponentially nearly 30 years later, and he doesnโ€™t see that fading away anytime soon.
