Void War Cheats: Get Unlimited Meta-Currency (Easy Save File Edit)
Tired of struggling for meta-currency in Void War? Want to have access to all those pretty ships and powerful commanders right from the start? Well, do we have a secret up our sleeve for you!! A bit of save file wizardry lets you grant yourself a mountain of credits. Disclaimer -> This involves editing game files… It’s extremely easy, but always back up your save file first just in case! Game updates could also patch this out in the future -> so enjoy it while it lasts!
What You’ll Need:
A basic text editor (like notepad on Windows).
The Super Simple Steps to Riches:
Find Your Save:
First, make sure Void War is closed.
Go to C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\Void_War\ on your PC.
(Can’t see AppData ? You might need to enable “Show hidden files” in your File Explorer options.)
Open the Profile:
In the Void_War folder, find profile.sav. Open it with your text editor.
Boost Your Current Cash:
Search (Ctrl+F) for “currMetaCurrency“. You’ll see a number next to it… change this number to the amount of currency you want (e.g., 999999) : this is your NEW_WANTED_AMOUNT.
Update Your Lifetime Earnings (Important!):
Now search for “lifetimeMetaCurrency“. You MUST change this number too. It must be your NEW_WANTED_AMOUNT plus any currency you’ve spent in-game on items like commanders or ships since you started playing. For instance, if you spent 400 on the Witch commander and now want 10,000 currency:
The line with “currMetaCurrency” should be changed so its value is 10000 (e.g., “currMetaCurrency”: 10000).
The line with “lifetimeMetaCurrency” should be changed -> so its value is 10400 (which is 10000 + 400) (e.g., “lifetimeMetaCurrency”: 10400).
If you haven’t spent anything yet then the value for lifetimeMetaCurrency will just be the same as the value you set for currMetaCurrency.
Save & Play:
Save the profile.sav file. Launch Void War. You should see your new fat wad of credits!
Why Change Both Numbers?
Picture this: currMetaCurrency is what’s in your wallet right now. lifetimeMetaCurrency is more like the game’s ledger of all currency you’ve ever earned or had. Keeping them synchronized (with the “spent” amount accounted for) helps prevent the game from getting confused and, perhaps, resetting your cash.
And that’s it… Now you can buy all the nifty stuff in Void War and focus on blasting cultists and pirates to smithereens with your ultimate warship. Happy commanding!
