The King is Watching
The King is Watching is a roguelite kingdom builder with a unique twist: your buildings only work if you’re actively looking at them. As the all-seeing monarch, your royal gaze powers your economy—if it’s not in your spotlight, it’s not doing anything. Peasants? Lazy. Farms? Idle. Mines? Useless—until you stare hard enough.
Each run starts with basic structures like wells, farms, and woodcutters. As you survive waves of enemies, you unlock better buildings, more powerful troops (including archers, knights, and yes, flour-powered dragons), and magical spells like meteors or healing zones. Combat is automatic, but when the goblins roll in, you’ll be juggling unit production, gaze placement, and spellcasting like a true stressed-out ruler.
