Faruk Yerli
Faruk Yerli is one of the three brothers who co-founded Crytek, the German studio behind Far Cry, Crysis, and the powerful CryEngine. While his brothers Cevat and Avni often took creative or public-facing roles, Faruk focused on the business side — helping turn Crytek from a small indie team into one of the most respected tech-driven studios in the industry.
With a background in marketing and economics, Faruk played a key role in shaping the studio’s strategy, partnerships, and global expansion. He’s been involved in everything from publishing deals to high-level management, and since 2018, he’s served as co-CEO alongside Avni Yerli after Cevat stepped down.
Faruk Yerli might not always be in the spotlight, but he’s a major force behind Crytek’s long-term success and survival in a competitive industry.
