Killing Floor 3 Controls Guide (PC, Xbox & PlayStation)

There’s dying, and then there’s dying. The first is getting turned into a fine paste by a Fleshpound. The second, and far more embarrassing, is trying to heal yourself but instead performing high-explosive self-surgery with a grenade.

Killing Floor 3 is here to gleefully reset your muscle memory, and we’re here to make sure you press the right button for once.

PC Controls (Keyboard & Mouse)

The classic loadout for precision head-popping.

All PC Settings

Movement

Move: W, A, S, D

Jump: Spacebar

Crouch: C

Sprint / Dash: Hold Left Shift to Sprint, tap to Dash.

Sprint Toggle: T

Throw Dash: Hold B (Dash while throwing your item)

Combat & Weapons

Fire: Left Mouse Button

Aim / Zoom: Right Mouse Button

Reload: R

Melee Bash: V

Switch Fire Mode: Middle Mouse Button

Throw Grenade: G

Switch Weapons: 1 (Primary), 2 (Secondary), 3 (Melee/Backup), or Mouse Wheel

Utility & Teamplay

Heal (Syringe): Q

Use Tool: 4

Use Gadget: X

Interact: E

Flashlight: F

Find Trader: Hold F to follow the money trail.

Ping / Command Wheel: Tap Left Alt to Ping, hold for the Command Wheel.

Push To Talk: K

Give Up: Hold Y to die faster. We won’t judge.

Controller Controls (Xbox & PlayStation)

For those who prefer to slay from the couch.

Movement

Look / Move: Right / Left Thumbstick

Sprint: Press Left Thumbstick (LS / L3)

Jump: A / X (Cross)

Crouch / Dash: Hold B / O (Circle) to Crouch, Tap to Dash.

Combat & Weapons

Fire: RT / R2

Aim / Block: LT / L2

Reload / Give Up: Tap X / ☐ (Square) to reload. Hold to surrender. Don’t mix them up.

Swap Weapons: Tap Y / Δ (Triangle) to cycle, hold to quick-swap to melee.

Melee Bash: Press Right Thumbstick (RS / R3)

Throw Grenade: LB / L1

Switch Fire Mode: RB / R1

Utility & Teamplay

Heal (Syringe): D-Pad Down

Use Gadget: RB + LB / R1 + L1

Use Tool: D-Pad Left

Flashlight / Find Trader: Tap D-Pad Right for your light, hold it to find the Trader.

Ping / Command Wheel: Tap D-Pad Up to Ping, hold it for the command wheel.

Throw Dash: Hold D-Pad Down

Can You Remap Controls in Killing Floor 3?

Keyboard & Mouse: Yes, go wild. Remap everything to your heart’s content.

Controller (Xbox & PlayStation): No. You can only choose from several pre-made layout presets. Pick your poison.
