It is not officially supported, but you can increase your lobby size by entering the command code;
How to Increase Lobby Player Limit
g_multiplayer_limit *number* in the console before the lobby is hosted (i.e., be on the main menu screen).
Be warned that there are glitches, and game stability greatly decreases when using this command. Note: The console is opened using the “~” key.

I heard that using this command can get you vac banned via steam? I can’t find anywhere to verify this or not though.
