FIFA 21 & FIFA 22 – How to Save Every Penalty Kick

In FIFA 21 and FIFA 22, when you aim for a penalty kick using the left stick of your controller—whether you’re aiming for the top or bottom corner—the penalty taker will move his head. This movement isn’t just for show; it indicates the intended direction of the kick.

For instance, if you aim towards the top right corner (by moving the left stick to the right), the in-game penalty taker will turn his head right. To defend against this, simply hold the right stick of your controller to the right. Doing so will position your goalkeeper correctly, increasing your chances of saving the penalty.

While mastering penalty blocks in FIFA 21 and 22 might seem daunting initially, it’s not the most challenging aspect of the game. However, it may take a few attempts to familiarize yourself with the controls and nuances.
