There are a couple of ways to get this – The barrow king in the west side of the highlands drops a fair bit. In the volcano, the small rock heads in the pens drop a huge amount if you farm them. Earlier than that, the three caves near Freya’s hovel are full of bat demons that drop a good amount when skinned. Other earlier sources – undead hyenas near the sinkhole drop occasionally, as do the cat beasts in the southwest corner of the jungle area near the sand temple.
